A striking Commemorative Sheet to celebrate the 150th anniversary of
the world's oldest football league club. Individually numbered in a
limited edition of 10,000.
Although stated to be from a print run of 10,000 sheets Royal Mail have
verbally confirmed to me in the past that they have not printed 10,000 for
similar issues. In practice a smaller number may
have been printed initially to meet projected sales, probably in the
region of c. 1000 - 2000 sheets. Treat the 10,000 figure with
caution.
