Although purportedly from a print run of 10,000 sheets Royal Mail have
verbally confirmed to me in the past that the initial print run of
sheets such as this one is less than 10,000 sheets - this
represents an upper limit for the issue. In reality a smaller number of
sheets may well
have been printed, based on RM assessment of demand - e.g. 1,000 - 3,000
sheets, potentially leading to minute differences between the colours of
subsequent printings.
